This was a booklending borrow...and am I glad. Beware the rave reviews. No idea what THEY were reading...

I absolutely could not stomach any more of this drivel. I was bored to tears, read some reviews (the honest negative ones) and decided at about 40 % (pg 158 of 423 or 3664 0f 9148...

    J. A. Redmerski has penned a truly perfect romance. Written with a light, yet often poetic, style, Edge of Never takes the reader on a journey from shattered hope to empowering love. Stark character distinctions reveal the vulnerability and strengths of sexual hunger -- from the raw to the sacred experience of passion. The subplots meld brilliantly into a final lingering question: Is serendipity planned?

I was expecting a lot after all the 5 stars reviews, but I'm glad to say, I wasn't disappointed.
Lauren Fortgang beautifully brings to life all the great points in this book and it makes it a super enjoyable experience.

I enjoyed this book but wasn't crazy about it. I read it within a day because the story itself grabs you and pulls you in. I can't put my finger on what I didn't love about this book. I typically love books like this. I really love books about spontaneous road trips, traveling or moving on a whim. I could never do that so I like reading books that have that fun side to them. To get up one morning go to a bus station buy a ticket for Idaho with only a few items to your name just because you needed to escape the sameness of your life. Camryn did and it led her to Andrew who joins her trip in Kansas. Instantly you can feel the chemistry between the two. Andrew dealing with his own life issues doesn't want to drag Camryn into them but he just can't seem to stay away from her. After they start to go their separate ways they are pulled together again and decide to do a road trip by car. It was nice watching them come together on this trip figuring out what they want. I was holding my breath when I was reading the last 2 chapters of this book. I don't think I could read fast enough to see what happened. Overall I enjoyed The Edge of Never and I’m really excited to see what happens in the next book The Edge of Always.

I liked this a lot, Andrew is sweet and sexy. It also had some twists I didn't expect. Kinda didn't want the story to end.

I had no idea how i was going to react to this story.. I didn't know it was going to have an emotional rollercoaster effect on me, but it did.. It has everything in it that makes it such a wonderful story.. Laughter, sadness(i cried!!!) and happiness... This is such a true love story and makes you fall in love with both characters.. wow, i'm still shocked with how much i loved Andrew and Camryn.. I didn't know what to expect..

I loved this book, it was sweet, loving, heartbreaking, just so surprising, and then to find out months later there is going to be a sequel, I couldn't be happier, love Cam and Andrew, so romantic.

From what I had heard of this book and from seeing the rave reviews I was excited to start reading it. I thought I would love it. I liked it, but didn't love it. I couldn't quite get fully enthralled with this book. There were parts that would start to suck me in, but then it would shove me back out. It started out promising and I thought this was going to be fun, but then it got really slow and boring, then picked up again, but just couldn't keep me intrigued. There were parts where there was pages to explain stuff that shouldn't have taken pages and parts that could have had so much potential to pull me in but ended too quickly.
The characters in this book are great. There are some redeeming qualities and parts in this book. I know this is not the popular take on this book, but I felt the redeeming qualities gave the book more potential then it actually produced.

Unlike the previous book I read (Love Left Behind), this book I can honestly say that I like the characters. I actually know them.

The only flaw I saw in this book is small, the grammatical errors. Don't get me wrong I'm not an English teacher or major or anything like that. The only reason I bring it up is because grammatical errors, to me, are the equivalent of watching a scratched up DVD. It ruins the flow.

Something else that I'm getting burnt out of is the whole S&M that seems to be in every book, now-a-days not just this one. Not all girls want to be dominated. Luckily Camyrn was a lot stronger of a personality than the other S&M loving girls in books I've read recently. And the scenes are, thankfully, pretty short and far between. The main focus of this book seems to be her growth from where she started, all the way till where she ends up.

I really enjoyed taking this journey with Camryn and Andrew. It was a fun read that had me hooked from the start. There was some aspects of the story that where a but predictable but I still enjoyed it.
I heard that there is to be a second book and I can't think of how it's going to get done as Camryn and Andrew's journey seems to have ended.
