Characters/People edit see section history

  • Emyni: Emyni is a short, thirteen-year-old, girl with long black hair that reaches her waist. Until her adventure introduce her to more fantastic people she favored a simple smock or robe for clothing and was not particularly concerned about her looks.
  • Bes: Bes is a jovial, and mysterious, dwarf with a hunched back and twisted face. His appearance could be off-putting to some if it wasn't for his friendly and joking demeanor. Bes is not above self-deprecation to defuse tension - but very few would make the mistake of thinking him a fool more than once.
  • Duseg: Duseg is the aged father of Emyni. He was once a tall man, but an injury to his foot in a long-forgotten war and decades of labor as a brickmaker has bent his back and left him with a limp. Duseg's entire world is his daughter - and he would do anything to protect her - to the extent that his attempts to protect her may actually cause harm.
  • Mel'k: The Galkin, or "Lead Sickle" (Captain), of the King's elite rangers known as "Igibarra". Mel'k is a stern man not given to flights of humor nor tolerant of emotional outbursts. He has spent a lifetime in service to his King and he intends to do so, to the best of his ability, until he leaves this world for the next.
  • Datena: Datena is the beautiful, fourteen-year-old, young heiress to Omaro the Builder, a Master in the powerful Builder's Guild. Her features are dark and exotic and are only accented by the beautiful jewelry and fine clothing she chooses to wear. But Datena's life of luxury cannot last forever, she soon finds out.
  • Nusiki: A rogue child in every sense of the term, Nusiki was born on the streets of Nun-Ki, the capital city, and grew up living on them and under them. Though he does not know his age he believes himself to be between fourteen and sixteen, and is already an accomplished thief and master of escape. He has blue eyes, unusual for the region, and short, thick, curls of dark hair that are never fully tamed by the efforts of a comb.
