“The ending of In Flight was pretty awful and things haven't gotten better. While Bianca's body is healing, her mind, heart, and soul are trying to make sense of what's going on with her and James. Can she really trust him? And more importantly, can she let him in?

When Bianca finally agrees to see James, it's at a nightclub and James hadn't shown up yet. Bianca was opening up and telling some of the other flight attendants about him...
“On a scale of one to ten, what was he?”
I sighed. They were not gonna let up. “How would, ‘I want him to f*ck me to death, and he just might’, rate on that scale?”
Of course, James walks up at that exact moment and he wastes no time in letting Bianca know how much he misses her...
“Did you want me to f*ck you in front of all of your co-workers? Because that’s all I can think about, when I see you in that outfit.”
~sigh~ But Bianca is just as affected and while they don't go at it right then, there are plenty of extremely steamy scenes. Some are pretty noteworthy, especially the one on horseback which I still couldn't figure out! (Where's a horse when you need one...LOL!)
I think that's really the draw for me, James' intensity and his insatiableness! How many different places and ways can RKL come up with? And I really want to know more about James...not the whats but the whys!
The time away from Bianca has only made James...more. More jealous, more intense, more brazen and he's finding it hard to hold back...not that he does...much! I was really surprised about the tattoos though. I still can't believe with everything that has gone on they haven't said those three little words. Even though James' actions are shouting them, Bianca still needs that and I have a feeling James does too.
The drama is still going on with Jules and she's bringing in more people. The charity event and episode in the bathroom was a bit shocking and unfortunately, I'm sure we're not done with her yet. The good thing that came out of that is Lana. I thought she was fantastic and was sooo happy that at least someone was in Bianca's corner.
There's some new development with Stephan and a new/old romance. I really like him and want him to be happy. I think that both him and Bianca need to have some growth to be able to let others in. I guess it would be nice if they both got that.
The drama is still going on with Bianca's past and what happened at the end of the last book really amps up at the end of this one. We get some new and interesting information as well as really harsh stuff...and of course, that's where it leaves us hanging. Onto the last one!

I like how she found the strength to face her demons in this one, the whole history about her father and mother was unraveled here, and James really made adjustments for her. I can't help but compare his behavior with that of Christian Grey (Fifty Shades by E.L. James), where he exerted a lot of effort to please Bianca in all aspects. His possessiveness is off the charts and here we'll find Bianca unsheathing her claws in the jealousy department. I could imagine how she felt when a lot of James's women from his slut days were foisted upon her, and her steely resolve to avoid the garbage the media projects.
I'm happy for Stephan because he has found his own love. Bianca is now more open to friendships with her fellow flight attendants (except Melissa of course) and I like how classy she is by not stooping down to the others' level.
There is little of Bianca's life as a flight attendant here, but more of her transforming to a stronger woman. The sex was really hot and both of them are skirting around the love issue, which was totally fine. James is consistent in being a determined man and I don't want to spoil anything here, just that I'm eagerly awaiting for the conclusion of this trilogy, Grounded.
