Stories are mostly based on the relationship between a Chinese mother and Chinese-Amercan daughter and conflicts due to their different cultures. ”

Amy Tan talks her destiny deeply with sharp words and some intelligent Chinese thinking ways. It is easy to read and you will really enjoy it. You need to think about the circumstances of Amy while you're reading this book. It is like delicious food, tasteful and enjoyable. If you've flip few pages then you will definitely fall yourself in it. It really an amazing book, nice biography to read. ”

Yes | No“I was required to read this for my lit class but before that, my mom had already recommended this book to me. It was a good book although i had a hard time realizing that it revolved around sereval people in the beginning. But even after that, i still had a hard time with understanding the plot as it had jumped from time period to time period between the chapters.
The story revolves around Suyuan Woo, Lindo Jong, An-Mei Hsu, Ying-Ying St. Clair and their daughters Jing-Mei Woo, Waverly Jong, Rose Hsu And Lena St. Clair, respectively. The book is a collection of the stories of these women, whether it was in the past or the present. It all comes together ”
