“Who knew there were so many great scifi short stories in '74? This contains a number of great stories. Best of all, in my opinion, is Michael Bishop's "Death and Designation Among the Asadi". It was so detailed and engrossing that I felt as though I were reading a real collection of journal entries about an alien race. I also greatly enjoyed "Moby, Too" (Gordon Eklund), "Doomship" (Frederik Pohl and Jack Williamson), and "Weed of Time" (Norman Spinrad). This is a collection of stories that I'll definitely read again.”
