Characters/People edit see section history

  • Emariya Warren: Seventeen year old medieval heiress Emariya Warren( called Riya by her friends ), the daughter of Oren Warren and Valencia Roth, is the heroine of Cornerstone. Because of her magically gifted bloodlines (the knowledge of which has been hidden from her,) she is a target for those who don't want to see ages old prophecies fulfilled. Emariya is stubborn, brave, and loyal. She knows how to be a proper heiress when needed, but most of the time she is unpretentious. She should have had the selection of any suitor she wanted. An arranged marriage of convenience was never in her plan, but neither was falling for the prince she was determined to hate. Her story, filled with romance, betrayal and heartbreak, will span the breadth of all the three kingdoms.
  • Torian Ahlen: The handsome prince of Thalmas, nineteen year old Torian Ahlen, has committed to an alliance with Eltar in exchange for Emariya's hand in marriage.
  • Garith Hayes: Twenty year old Garith has grown up as Emariya's best friend, even though he is a craftsman's son, and she is almost like royalty. They never should have been allowed to become as close as they are, but Oren was an indulgent father. He is a bit inexperienced in the way of the world, but he has a sharp mind and he would do absolutely anything to protect Emariya, even accept the fact that while he loves her, she will never be his.
  • Lord Reeve Warren: Nineteen year old Reeve Warren is the eldest child of Valencia and Oren. He is Emariya's brother, and he leads the Council of Eltar in his father's absence.
  • Jessa: Eighteen year old Jessa, Emariya's handmaiden, is the daughter of Mairi. Jessa has strong opinions about right and wrong, and she has her work cut out for her in trying to keep Emariya in line. She's Emariya's friend first, and servant second.
  • Rink: Thirteen and awkward, Rink is often unintentionally funny. His history is revealed in Gifted Stone. He is loyal to a fault, and doesn't have an insincere bone in his body.
  • Mairi: Mairi was Valencia's handmaiden, just as now her daughter tends to Valencia's daughter. Mairi hid the children (Jessa, Reeve and Emariya) under the floorboards when The Separatists came and murdered Lady Valencia. She has served as a mother to Emariya, as well as the head servant of the Warren household.
  • Dellas Ahlen: The King Thalmas, Dellas has lost his sanity due to the gift of the sight of the Stones. He sees visions of the future, but has started to have a hard time telling vision from reality.
  • Jaryl: The lackey of the protagonist. Jaryl used to be a prisoner, but he was pardoned when he proved useful.
  • Valencia Roth: Emariya's mother. Valencia Roth traveled from Sheas to marry Oren Warren in an attempt to unite their two lands. Now, her daughter Emariya is following in her footsteps. Valencia died before she could see the benefit of her marriage. Hopefully, Emariya's fate won't be quite so dark.
  • Addie: The first resident of Thalmas that Emariya and her companions meet. She offers them a meal and friendship.
  • Finn: A resident of the Uplands, Finn was gravely injured and his wife hopes that Emariya can help him recover.
  • Lady Dariah: Councilor Calkirk's wife. A noblewoman of Eltar.
  • Arwen Ahlen: The Queen of Thalmas.
  • Russell: The leader of the Separatists.
  • Rees Hendel: Emariya's uncle, Rees is the reported dictator of Sheas.
  • Nomi: A serving girl at Castle Ahlen.
  • Drea: Emariya's Palomino mare.
  • Farah: A serving girl at Castle Ahlen.
  • Roland: Rink's father. Roland is the stable master at Calkirk.
  • Raina: Emariya's snow white filly was bred in Thalmas. She was a gift to Riya from her brother.
  • Kora: A serving girl at Castle Ahlen.
  • Irina: Oren Warren's deceased mother. She was said to have a strong talent with herbal remedies.
  • Eshan: An injured man who reveals information about Oren to Emariya.
  • Khane: Khane escorts Emariya from Eltar to Thalmas.
  • Roel: The stable master of Warren's Rest.
  • Lord Oren Warren: Emariya's Father. He disappeared three years ago.
  • Lord Felton: A Councilor of Eltar
  • Jimm: Addie's husband, a resident of Thalmas.
  • Lord Harlow Calkirk: A Councilor of Eltar. His wife is Dariah.
  • Leil: Add a description of this character.
  • Bosch: A Councilor of Eltar. Very old. Maybe senile.
  • Neela: The wise-woman of Warren's Rest.
  • Norval: A distributor at Warren's Rest. Neela's husband.
