“The seventh of the Don Juan series, by Carlos Castenada, this book is the first of several "text book" volumes that explain key concepts of the Toltec warrior sorcerers. I read this book in 1985, at which time I reread all the previous six books -- but I haven't read it since. As I recall, the subject was "stalking," the use of strategy in stalking a kill or an enemy and, underlying it, a philosophy of how one lives life with purpose. The narrative is composed of incidents taken from about 15 years of study and note taking.”
