Cliff is now retired. His wife was killed in an auto accident, and he left the FBI under a dark cloud. He geocaches as a hobby but it turns out to land him in trouble when he comes across the remains of a man he was once supposed to arrest. When one of the investigators turns out to be an old flame, things turn interesting. This is more of a thriller and traditional mystery than the first book in the series, Held for Ransom, which was more of a police procedural. There's plenty of action here when the bodies turn up.
