This book inspired me so much! I think the story of Anne Frank is inspirational, compelling, interesting and captivating, and should be a part of every library worldwide. The story is so compelling because it is written in diary form, by Anne Frank, a girl who experienced hiding in the Holocaust. It is a great story because it supplies the reader with information about the Holocaust and the social structure that was active during this time period. So it is an informative book as well, not just a silly girl's published diary. However, I think the "teenager" aspect is an important part of the book. The fact that it is written by a young girl draws a certain audience because they can relate to her. I was able to relate to many elements of the book; the romance, the family, the sister bonds and fights, and the school aspect. Although this is captivating to a certain audience, it does not limit the readers. This book can be read by any age group, and either gender group, and would still be an interesting read.

Such a sweet girl, so sad that her life was cut short, what a great woman she would have been.
