I absolutely loved this book! It was a great and funny book to keep the class entertained. I think this would be a book you could read after lunch or for any extra time during the day.

I like this book because children are so literal. With every child I meet at a young age, they take the world at face value. This book is great to be able to talk about things that don't mean exaclt ywhat you think all the time.

Cute book you could use while teaching the importance of being at school and not being absent!

Great way to remind children of the importance of paying attention to details.

This book is great for teaching vocabulary. The teacher can also guide her class in making predictions about the story.

A very cute book that has a knack for introducing great vocabulary. A young girl misses school and rushes her spelling homework, misspelling miscellaneous as Miss Alaineus. The next day that she attends school, she spells miscellaneous in this wrong way to the entire class, becoming quite embarrassed. Instead of wallowing in her mistake, she comes to the school's vocabulary show dressed as Miss Alaineus and laughs at her own mistake. Could be used during a vocabulary unit or as a shared reading to talk about owning your mistakes.

This is a good book to teach children that many words have different meanings. Teachers can use this book to show children that if they do not know the meaning of a word they should look it up in the dictionary before they use the word in the wrong context.

I thought this book was really creative. I would love to share this with my classroom and maybe even integrate it with a vocabulary lesson.

This book is a great book to teach about vocabulary words. The teacher could explain to the students the right way to look up words. This book could also teach students how they should treat one another. Eventhough someone makes a mistake, it is not okay to laugh at them.
