“I have to say I did not expect much from this book. I hadn't cared for McKinlay's Buttercream Bumpoff much, and figured this was more of the same. However, bibliophile that I am, I was intrigued by the Library Lovers Mystery series title and was drawn in. While not exactly up to par with a few other amatuer slueth stories I've read, I did enjoy it.

I like Lindsey as a heroine. She isn't exactly street tough, but still resourceful and resilient. She was a tad bland at times, but Ill give her another book before writing her off as boring.

My favorite character was Heathcliff. That's not to say that the other side characters were terrible, but he is adorable. And heroic.

The plot wasn't bad, but it could have used a boost. I admit that I wasn't expecting ****** to be guilty.

Now, I just need to find the first of the series!”
