Miss Fannie's Hat is a delightful and heartwarming story about a woman with a giving heart and spirit. Miss Fannie owns and love hats of all type and colors, each week she selects and wears a different hat to church. The preacher ask Miss Fannie if she would consider donating one of her beautiful hats for the auction to help make some improvement to the church in time for Easter. Miss Fannie relives many memories as she tries to decide which of her beloved hats to donate. It is a simple story but delightfully heartwarming with a nice conclusion. The book could as a good read aloud book on sharing and giving to others.”
“Every little girl and woman should own this book.”

I think I love it so much because it reminds me of my great-grandmother and how she loved to dress up and look nice wherever she went. Even the scene where Miss Wanda washes Miss Fannie's hair in the sink reminds me of my mother washing my great-grandmother's hair in the sink. Sweet story.”

My daughter selected this as her favorite book when she was little. We made a straw hat full of pink roses and took it to the library when they had a children's favorite book display. Too cute! What a wonderful little woman Miss Fannie was.”
