Cuaderno De Noah

The Notebook

by Nicholas Sparks

El ambiente rural de Carolina del Norte se combina con el drama de un amor imposible para traernos una novela conmovedora. Los laberintos del córazon humano serán, más que nada, el medio en que se desarrolla esta historia. (read review)

Sorry, call me a sap, but nothing compares to this book. I read it a few years ago and wanted to be in the story. I enjoyed that Noah and Allie, though completely romantic, were not the "perfect" couple. They argued, had their issues, and were human. It is truly my favorite book in the world.

Didn’t Like It

It was the first romance I've read and I have to say I expected more... I found particularly tiring the last big part at the Elderly Home but in general the love story was OK :)

I've heard such good critiques on the film that I must have idealized the whole story in my head. Also, I tend to believe that books are always better than the film but I think this is not the case...

I liked the parts related to art, poetry, painitng and I really appreciated the hero's views on...

the book was alright but the movie made it almost perfect. I like Nick Sparks's sense of writing romantic yet tragic, especially message in the bottle, everything ends with a heartache.
