I read the the first titles of the Clan of the Cave Bear series back when they were all the rage. I really enjoyed the books, they were great, hard to put down stories. when the lag between sequels was bridged, I just never continued with the series, although I'm sure the following sequels are just as unforgettable.

Although I really like this series, the first book is still sooooo much better. There's a lot of graphic sex in this one which isn't bad once in awhile, but it just seems thrown in for good measure against everything else. Also, I got so bored on the overly intricate detail of ever single little thing and feeling, it got a bit repetitive. I basically just started skipping ahead to things I actually cared about and to see what happen. I would like to know how her story end because it is very...
