- Cain Black: Frontman guitarist for the BlackRock band. He's returned home for his friend, Jesse's funeral. He, Jesse, Jake and Mac were considered the Bad Boys of Crystal Lake. He was the high school quarterback on the football team. He's 31-years old, tall with dark brown hair and chocolate eyes.
- Maggie O'Rourke: She's a single mother of son Michael, is from Savannah and cleans houses to support them. She's also trying to write childrens books. She has reddish brown hair and blue eyes.
- Michael O'Rourke: Maggie's 7-year old son.
- Jesse Edwards: Jake's twin brother who was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan.
- Jacob (Jake) Edwards: Jesse's twin brother, a Marine
- Marnie Edwards: Matriarch of the Edwards family
