“Hole In My Life is an autobiography about Jack Gantos. The book describes his teenage and young adult life and how he got caught up in the world of drug smuggling to earn money for college. Eventually, he gets caught and is sent to jail, and does everything he can to get out.
I really liked this book. I read Jack Gantos' books as a kid and loved them, so it was interesting to see what he went through and what his life was like. It was very inspiring to see all the fight he had in him, and how he went on to go to college and write books with his backstory. I also liked how honest he was with everything. In a way, he inspired me to never give up and always follow my dreams, no matter what the circumstances are.”
