“enojyable but the whole plot idea seems a bit weak for the time period it's set in. Not even sure if the UK could have sold Canada to the US, given Canada's status at the time...”

Another fun Dirk Pitt story. Lots of history here. Pitt and company are in a race against time to uncover some important documents from a sunken ship in the St. Lawrence seaway and from a train that disappeared in 1914. These documents, important to Great Britain, could mean war against the United States. It makes for a very entertaining race between these two countries to be the first to recover the documents and in the case of Great Britain, destroy them once and for all. Night Probe has many twist and turns and many characters, but if you can keep up it's a great read. ”

I personal ilythink that Clive Cussler overdid himself with Night Probe he wrote it so perfectly that you have to read this book without stopping from beganing to end.”

Dirt Pitt comes off as a nice suave hero in this book but some of the other characters were a little thin and a bit unbelievable. There isn't much of a Dirt and Al duo in this book which is something that was really enjoyable in some of his other books.
The plot for this book was a little strange to me. I'm not sure if it's because times have changed and our enemies and what not are different but the conflict just never really hit home with me.
Still this book was a good read and I did enjoy it. ”
“Just ok”

Sorry, I am addicted to the good guys winning. I also felt that the sexual content in the begining of the book was a bit more descriptive than it needed to be. ”
