  • Dahlgren, Jack: A cowboy-like companion of Dirk Jr.'s, loves drinking and anything having to do with a bar. Went to college with Dirk Jr., and end up working at NUMA together.
  • Giordino, Al: Long time friend and companion of Dirk Sr., roughly 6', 200 lbs, this man is not one that you would want to fuss with. Visually, Al looks like rhino but is more of a dog on the inside.
  • Kang, Dae-Jong: The villian of the story, a Korean man leading an industry named after him that has to deal with many different sectors of the economy. Manipulative and powerful, Kang has the ability to move mountains with the snap of his fingers, as well as decimate the U.S.'s population...
  • Ogawa: Add a description of this character.
  • Sarah: A biologist employed under the Center for Disease Control working out of Yunaska, an island in the Aleutians, Sarah is forced to postpone her work when she and her team get struck by an invisible wave of death that is killing the area's local wildlife. After being rescued by NUMA, Sarah hooks up with Dirk Jr. and is the love attraction of this book.
