I can't say enough about this book...one of my all time favorites! Deals tenderly with the issues of shame and love.

Using the book of Hosea to inspire her, Rivers rewrites this beautiful love story in a way that will cause this to be one of your favorites!

It is her best work by far!

This is the second time I have read this book and it was just as great as the first. Even though I knew how it was going to end I was still on the edge of my seat. Her characters are so well written you can't help but get pulled in and carried away. This book isn't just a great read but it also makes you think about life and people. This book moves me so much and the questions at the end are also very thought provoking.

My favorite Francine Rivers book. A powerful re-telling following the story of Hosea. How heartwrenching to the heart of God, both the tragiedies of sin and our choices within the circumstances they bring about. A beautiful story of the unending, redeeming love of God. A MUST READ.
