  “Excellent if you know C and want to learn the Objective-C programming language. This book explains the delta and is the only book I know on that topic which doesn't include a verbose beginner's introduction to C. It also doesn't talk about Cocoa beyond the very basics like NSObject and some reference counting.
  
  This book just describes the Objective-C language and runtime, *not* Cocoa and *not* C from scratch. It does a very good job at it.
  
  I don't know if newer versions of the book cover Objective-C 2.0.”
