Psh. A "pretty good book". We both know it was more than that, my friend.
I didn't like it as much as TID though. And I'm liking CoA more than CoB. It's weird, but while I liked it, I didn't connect to this one as much. (don't hurt me...)
Well, TID was TID. TMI isn't TID, so try not to hold it to a higher standard; it'll be more enjoyable that way. Yeah, CoA is better than CoB in my opinion as well. I think it's the fact that we already know the plot twist and are trying to live with it. XD
Yeah, I finished CoA and I liked it more than CoB, but I'm trying my hardest to read them as different series. But it's kinda hard when making the connections and stuff.
I was on Tumblr and saw this excerpt where Clary is talking to Brother Zachariah. At the beginning, they were talking about someone's name (I'm not sure if you've gotten to the part where he is a big part of the series yet) and BZ was saying how it was a popular Shadowhunter name. Then they mentioned the name William Herondale. She asks how he knows so much about the Herondales and if he remembers his life before and if he ever would've died for someone. He replies with two people. I sat there, crying.
That would be a connection. A very painful connection.
Oh my gosh, I can feel the tears coming on! I just can't do it! THE FEELS! Everything about Jem and Will and Tessa kills me! After Clockwork Princess...
I KNOW! I actually made a picture about it. I'm trying to decide if it would cause instant tears though. I would give it to you, but it would be a torrent of spoilers. J-just tell me when you finish CoG and I'll let you see it.
Of course I'll let you know! I need someone to talk to!
