My personal favorite is The Running Man, followed by The Longwalk, then Rage (although at one point in my life Rage was in my top...

Thanksgiving day, began and finished Rage, I enjoyed it

6 December, just finished Running Man. There were no neon gladiators...that automatically made it great.

There are some great stories in this one. A collection of works by Richard Bachman a.k.a Stephen King. Hard to find sometimes because Rage is no longer in print ever since the massacre at Comlumbine.

So far I've read 'Rage' and 'The Long Walk'. They aren't the typical Stephen King, but that's the point of writing under an alias, right?

I'm giving this one 5 stars because of "The Long Walk." It's the same kind of story as "The Running Man" (also included in this book), a deviant game where lives are at stake. There isn't a lot better than early Stephen King.

I liked all four stories, but my favourite would have to be "The Long Walk"- I felt so involved in the story, I could practically feel the fatigue the characters were feeling!

It was a slow read. I enjoyed it, but not as much as King's...I mean Bachman's other works...
