Didn’t Like It“Ugh. Why? Why was this written? Are these authors really that bad? That evil? Just leave well enough alone, thank you.” see full review » see other reviews » |
“This filled in a lot of the missing pieces from the Frank Herbert's Dune series”

True, the style is a little different, but the thrill of being together with Dune again was so great that I did not mind a second.
Truely a masterpeice.”
“Audiobook
Not subtle at all. Takes all of the trappings of the Dune universe and SHOVES THEM IN YOUR FACE! And doesn't even do a good job of that. If this were an rpg game that my friends and I came up with, then it would be okay. But this is a novel that the authors had _years_ to work on. One thing that made it tolerable was that it was Tim Curry reading it (although Count Fenring was irritating). Another thing that made it tolerable was that it was abridged. On to House Harkonnen!”
“Surprisingly good. Not Dune, but better than somne of the sequels”

It was okay, it had alot of the great dune politics and things, but really lacked the excitement of the legends of dune series.”
