“I LOVED this book... a genre that has to appeal to you (vampires) to love it BUT it is not written in the usual dripping blood, tearing the throat out horror story style... it is"literary" in the sense of Mary Shelley, beautiful prose and a complex storyline... the ending, and I mean THE ENDING, will blow you away! An all-time favorite and one that I would love to find from another author.”

“This is a beautiful book that takes you on a journey through Turkey and Eastern Europe. The story is gripping, the characters could have been fuller, but really, when it's finished I was satisfied.”

“Falls apart a bit at the end, but I enjoyable and creepy. Always nice to see a book about research be interesting and suspenseful. I was fairly creeped out while reading it, which wasn't helped by finding a bat in my basement.”

“This is a fantistic take on the dracula mystery. You really feel as if you are in the actual life of this young lady and that you are living the mystery. It also feels as if you are reading a factual basis. I rate this book up there with Dan Brown's Davinci Code, that when you are done reading you feel as if you read history not fiction!”

“My sister loaned me this book. It was well worth the read although parts were a litlle slow. An intriquing look at vampires and the lore. ”
