I really enjoyed this, even though it was described as 'Twilight for grown-ups' (It's not, really. It's only Twilightish because it features vampires). The pace is slow and deep, and I loved the scholarly approach to Dracula. I had a hard time connecting with the main character, but she doesn't actually feature in most scenes, since the book is told as a series of flashbacks.

Evocative and creepy atmosphere.
