Worst book ever! I was expecting a good vampire story about the lore and legends surrounding Dracula. Instead what I got was a really long drawn out story that I could hardly finish. The information of Vlad and the Hagia Sofia was interesting, but that was about it. The relationships between the characters was not believable at all--an exorbitant amount of coincidences. The author may have done her research but too much of it "bites" off Stoker's Dracula. Do yourself a favor, put this book down and read Stoker's classic; it's actully thrilling and creepy. You'll thank me.

I completely agree with you!!!!!! Most people think I'm crazy for not liking this book, but I don't care. Like you, I was expecting a book filled with the world of vampires, but was disappointed.

Amen! What a waste of my time. I too kept waiting....waiting....waiting....and was dissapointed in the end. I'll take your advise and read the classic!

You are right! My views entirely. I think the author could have done so much more with the plot. A lot unnecessary and irrelevant stuff which took the reader away from the story
