3. This book is about a young girl who goes through all different types of moods. Each day her mood is something different and she explains why she feels like that and what she does because of it. At the end of the book she explains that its ok to have different moods as long as you don't let them effect others.
4. I think this book is a great book to have in the classroom because kids will be able to relate to this little girl. Every day students will be in different moods and this book can help them to express what they are feeling. At the end of this book there is a mood chart that the students can change after they read the book.
5. I would use this book in my classroom when one of my students was having a bad day and ask them to explain why they are feeling like that. Also we can have a whole unit on different moods and how we can let those moods effect others and what we do during the day.”
“I loved this book. This book leads a great way for you to discuss feelings with your students or child. The curly-headed girl shows off her multiple moods. These moods are all presented throughout the book in the form of rhymes. ”Mandy wrote this review Thursday, October 17, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“This book has some fun pictures and would be good to read as a hook if you were talking about emotions and feelings and how to treat each other. The little girl talks about here different emotions. She tells why she feels the emotion and thenrealizes that it is okay to have different emotions. This would be a good book for kindergarten or first grade. I would skip the page where she says she has a crush on her teacher. ”Monica Cramer wrote this review Thursday, October 17, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“Today I Feel Silly is a book by Jamie Lee Curtis about a young girl with curly red hair who explores all of the 13 different moods that she feels. The book allows her to address the feelings and why she feels that way and includes a spinning wheel for the readers to change both her eyes and mouth to determine her expression. I have loved this book since I was a child and I appreciate how it teaches the children that they can feel many different things and all of them are ok. By relating to this young littler girl the children can see that their moods are normal and aloud to change. This book is also very fun for children since they get to dictate part of the plot by using the wheel. ”Caitlin wrote this review Tuesday, April 9, 2013.
