Christina O 'Donnell is newly released from prison, where she has served four years of an eight year sentence for an armed robbery she committed in 1983, with her lover Rick Morelli. On the evening of the robbery, during a shoot -out with the police, Rick was burned to death in the caravan of Jewish Arnie. Christy's youngest brother Steve was also implicated in the robbery, and is currently serving his sentence.
While she was in prison, Christy did all she could to secure her release, including going on hunger strike, and slitting her wrists to feign suicide. The unfortunate loss of her baby, added to the decision to release her into the custodial care of her long-suffering older brother Barry, and his house-proud wife Linda. Linda being more than a little displeased at having to make certain that her sister-in-law stayed out of trouble.
No matter how sincere her intentions to go straight, Christy ultimately discovers that the cards are stacked against her. There is the unrecovered money that she and Rick stole, which is stashed in a safe deposit box, the key for which she entrusted to Irish arms merchant, Brendan
(Paddy)McIlvaney. The arresting officer Vic Simmons is also interested to learn of its whereabouts, for his own ends. Nightclub owner and gang boss Alex Chadwell is equally certain, that on her release Christy will go straight to the money. He attempts to force her to tell him, but she escapes from his clutches. A mysterious young woman frames Christy for Chadwell's murder, and she is arrested again, but not before she encounters the down at heel ex-Hell's Angel Jimmy Lascar. Jimmy resides in a rundown flat with his pregnant girlfriend Sharon and their young child.
Jimmy Lascar is instantly attracted to Christy, and he unwittingly becomes drawn into her world, only to discover that Rick Morelli is still very much alive. It is he who has been engineering
Christy's downfall, so that she is left with little choice than to help him commit another robbery, and leave England to go to Spain. Jimmy, and Christy's brother Barry, who both care for her equally, ultimately join forces against Morelli in order to prove her innocence, and rescue her
although Morelli is a crackshot and heavily armed. Although they have to rely on is their wits, an old Kawasaki motorbike, and the ingenuity of the young biker.
