“As the full title reveals this is a firsthand account of a Navy SEAL who witnessed the death of Osama Bin Laden. It is also an autobiography of his life and career up to that point.

Mr. Owen does not sugar-coat the truth nor does he leave out the language that often accompanies that of a military member. If you are expecting a book that tells more than what is already publicly known... forget about it.

I think the book is really well written. In particular, the Prologue is just a taste of the action before the reader sees what lead up to the infamous day. Mr. Owen intersperses personal thoughts among the action in just the right amount. Perhaps Kevin Maurer helped him with this. Either way, I was never bored with the book at all. I learned a lot about the Navy SEAL lifestyle and it made me appreciate them even more than I already did. I applaud Mr. Owen for putting what he knew to be the truth out there for everyone to see.

I feel this book will be good for anyone who is military-minded or would like to learn more about life of a Navy SEAL beyond what is projected in movies and fiction books. I hope some young man or woman will read his book and decide that they too wish to defend and serve the United States of America with high standards and abilities.

“In the book no easy day they discuss How they took down Osama Bin Laden. I like this book because all these military strategies fascinate me and it is something I might want to go into in the future. I also like this book because it had a twist and turn along the timeline at every chapter. I honestly never saw the man having to actually kill Osama's son. I overall give this book 5 out of 5 because of its thrilling adventure theme and because of its awesome plot. I also give this book 5 out of 5 because of its charachter development. ”

“Not a real energetic page-turner, but enjoyable. Perhaps a bit too simplistic in it's account, but a good overview of historical event. Likely will take year's before we have a deep, extensive re-telling of the military action that took down USB, which might include a decade of the intelligence necessary to find him.”
