A shame I haven't read this before now!

Jasmine Larson believes she's finally got it all together. She has started taking her christian walk more seriously. She's stopped dating married men and she started attending church more regularly. Jasmine in a new town in her new apartment. She has lost weight and bought a whole new wardrobe. She has a great job and the support of her sister Serena and God brother Malik. Everything she needs to find her a man to settle down and find love.

Hosea Bush is a minister following in his father's footsteps who wants nothing more than to find a wife, settle down and raise a family. His once estranged relationship with his father is just the amuition Jasmine needs to get Hosea to fall in love with her despite the disapproval of the Rev. H. Samuel Bush. Who just so happens to be the minister of her new church home and the once object of Jasmine's conquest to find a new husband!

Jasmine's news of pregnancy brought nothing but JOY, but will it also be the key to her undoing?

Definitely a must read. Awesomely written!

Most people think that "Christian" fiction is dreary and stuffy. But not here. Victoria Christopher Murray offers compelling, enlightening, and refreshing stories for her dedicated fans and for those who aren't familiar with her work. "A Sin and a Shame" picks up where "Temptation," Murray's first novel, left off. The infamous Jasmine, who slept with her best friend's husband, has moved to New York from Los Angeles and is looking for new prey.

Jasmine is sinfully shameful in this story, but her determination was almost and I say almost, to be admired. Some colorful characters in this book........Mae Frances a eccentric divorcee refuses to have any part of Jasmine Larsons 'Christian' life... her ever adoring sister Sarena who is living the perfect Christian life...Malik her righteous by default God brother.....Reverend Bush and his son Hosea... the most incredible Black man you would ever want to meet. This is an entertaining tale that captured my attention from page one. I couldn't believe some of the 'crazy' situations Jasmine encountered in this book.

"A Sin and a Shame" is one well written sequel to the book mention above. After reading this it was obvious that Jasmine still has not learned her lesson even though she truly loves Hosea. The lie continues and things appear to work in her favor for the moment but anyway this saga is crying out for a third edition. A must read for fans and newcomers alike.

This book was too good to put down. I've read all her books except Ex-file and I can't wait to read that.
