  • Edward Dullen: The voice of Edward Cullen, who narrates Edward's Twilight.
  • Jezebella Penguin: The alter ego of Bella Swan.
  • Dr. Argyle Dullen: World renowned hematologist and partriarch of the Dullen clan.
  • Carmilla Dullen: Mother to the Dullen clan and a very talented plastic surgeon. Carmilla was a female vampire in the 19th century novella, Carmilla, by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu.
  • Emrick Dullen: Brawny brother of Edward who tells children's stories during the Full Moon Halloween Festival.
  • Rachel Dullen: Edward's sultry blonde sister with the perpetual scowl on her face.
  • Neville Dullen: Edward's edgy, hyperactive brother. Neville's name was inspired by the Dr. Robert Neville character in the movie, The Omega Man, reprised by Will Smith in the movie, I Am Legend.
  • Allison Dullen: Edward's delusional sister who thinks she can see the future.
  • Gnarly Penguin: Jezebella's father and Chief Game Warden for the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state.
  • Jody Silver Bullet: Jacob's alter ego. Inspired by the 1985 movie, Silver Bullet, which was based on the Stephen King novella, Cycle of the Werewolf.
  • Jessica Vain: Part of Jezebella's circle of friends and the most annoying girl at Full Moon High School.
  • Maxwell Newton: Suitor of Jezebella Penguin. His parents own Lost Expedition Outfitters.
  • Angelica Wicca: Jezebella's friend who may be a witch. Student at Full Moon High School.
  • Elliot Shih Tzu: The eyes and ears of Full Moon High School.
  • Tyson Fryer: Suitor of Jezebella Penguin. Has failed driver education class three times.
  • Lamont: Leader of the nomad vampires who challenge the Dullens for Jezebella.
  • Moonbeam: Nomad vampire in Lamont's group.
  • Andromeda: Nomad vampire in Lamont's group.
  • Venus: Nomad vampire in Lamont's group.
  • Selene Lycan: One of Jezebella's school friends. Selene is Kate Beckinsale’s character in the Underworld movies. The Lycans are the werewolves in Underworld.
  • Miriam Seward: Student at Full Moon High School. Miriam's father, Dr. Seward, runs the insane asylum outside of Full Moon on Renfield Road. In the novel Dracula, Dr. Seward ran the insane asylum in which Dracula's revenant, Renfield, was held.
  • Lenore Poe: Student at Full Moon High School. Lenore is the name of an 18th century German poem about a vampire. Poe is from the poet Edgar Allen Poe. The quote in Edward's Twilight, “I thought the dead traveled fast” is taken from a line of the poem.
  • Victoria Stewart: Student at Full Moon High School. A mash of Victoria from Twilight and Stewart, as in Kristen Stewart.
  • Salem Lott: Student at Full Moon High School. Inspired by the Stephen King novel, Salem’s Lot.
  • Samantha Molder: Student at Full Moon High School. Inspired by the Samantha Mulder character in the X-Files television series and movies. The sister of FBI agent Fox Mulder, Samantha was supposedly kidnapped by aliens when she was a child.
  • Brody Quint: Student at Full Moon High School. A mash of two characters from the movie Jaws, police chief Brody and the shark hunter, Quint.
  • Sara Connor: Student at Full Moon High School. Inspired by Sarah Conner from the Terminator movies.
  • Dr. Peter Cushing: Mentor of Dr. Argyle Dullen. Peter Cushing was a noted horror movie actor. He played Dr. Van Helsing in the 1958 movie, Horror of Dracula.
  • Mrs. Strode: Counselor at Full Moon High School. In the movie Halloween, Laurie Strode is the babysitter terrorized by Michael Meyers.
  • Father Karras: Priest in the town of Full Moon. Father Karras was one of the priests who attempted the exorcism in the movie, The Exorcist.
  • Regan: The waitress at Le Petit Cochon Restaurant. Inspired by Regan, the girl possessed by demons in the movie, The Exorcist.
  • Mr. Romero: Substitute teacher in Edwin and Jezebella's biology class. Inspired by George Romero, the master of zombie movies.
  • Eben: One of Chief Penguin's deputies. Inspired by Eben Oleson, sheriff in the movie 30 Days of Night.
  • Marlowe: One of Chief Penguin's deputies. Inspired by Marlowe, leader of the vampires in the movie 30 Days of Night.
  • Iris: One of Chief Penguin's deputies. Inspired by Iris, vampire mate of Marlowe in the movie 30 Days of Night.
  • Stephenie Meyer: When Edwin gives thanks because the only empty seat in biology class for Jezebella is right next to his, the Stephenie he refers to is, of course, Stephenie Meyer.
  • Melissa: When Edwin gives thanks because the only empty seat in biology class for Jezebella is right next to his, the Melissa he refers to is Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote the screenplay for Twilight.
  • Catherine: When Edwin gives thanks because the only empty seat in biology class for Jezebella is right next to his, the Catherine he refers to is Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the movie.
  • Heather Blair: Girl who disappeared in the woods where Edwin and Jezebella go hiking. Inspired by Heather Donahue from The Blair Witch Project.

It was a perfect January morning in the small, somewhat eccentric community of Full Moon, Washington, population 3120 souls, and home of the annual Full Moon Halloween Festival, a week-long celebration of goblins, ghouls, and all manner of spookiness featuring interactive tours of Full Moon’s cemeteries and haunted houses, an Invisible Man look-alike contest, the Shaun of the Dead Zombie Walk, the wildly popular Grave Robbers Scavenger Hunt, and the Dead by Dawn Horror Movie Festival, which attracts scores of horror movie fans from all over the world.
