I found this novel to be my favorite in this series. It was a reflection upon the times and persons surrounding the main characters wedding.

The love that Faith Sibley Fairchild and Reverend Thomas Fairchild is never in question throughout the last nineteen novels, but the where and how the couple got together has never been disclosed. This novel not only followed the meeting, engagement, and marriage, but, the rather unusual circumstances happening around Faith as she prepares to move to Tom's parish in New England.

There are the usual side stories, such as a mystery surrounding her temporary helper, Francesca, the opening of Josie's restaurant, and the background tales of Faith's family and Tom's family. Threaded among the pure romance of the tale is a thread of suspense and terror...someone is attempting to harm Faith, but seems to get other victims by mistake? It must be bridal nerves, mustn't it?

This book was deftly written and it flowed around me as I read the book in almost one sitting.

A superb Romance and a great Murder Mystery is in treat for you.
