    Hi Tamia,
The book is geared towards teens. I gotten great response from girls 14-18. While I think the feelings are universal, the book is solidly urban in language and scenarios. I'd suggest you read it first and you be the judge if you think the young reader would relate.

I am friends with a 15-yr-old boy-crazy girl...do you think I should introduce her to the books by this author? Or are they too "young"?

Good point, Lena. But not everyone feels that way. I think after reading these stories, the author's hope is that more girls will realize they are plenty all by themselves.
