“This book gives a great insight into the marriage- life. Marriage has eternal weight and is a gift of God to awaken our longing for more of Him. I really like how Mike Rizzo tells that marriage "is not a lifelong attraction of two individuals to each other but a call for two people to witness together to God's love." Hosea 2:19-20 was like an oil poured upon my heart as I was reading this book. Marriage is a fore-taste of our desire to see our Lover face to face. Another thing I've took to my heart is: "If you want to DO more for Jesus, stay single; if you want to BE more like Jesus get married." I really learned a lot of new things, i.e. the eight budding virtues of the bride from Song of Songs 4:1-5 and the scene of the two disciples on the Emmaus road seen as a marriage. The more we die to ourselves the more the needs of a marriage will be met. It's really all about God's glory in the end!”
