What might otherwise be a straightforward story of a teenaged girl trying to locate the father of her unborn child becomes a complex and chilling tale involving far more than Felicia bargains for. Wonderful! Atom Egoyan wrote and directed this as a film, with Bob Hoskins playing Mr. Hilditch. It is very much worth seeing, and I tend to dislike most movies made from books I enjoy.”
