I have loved reality TV since Real World. I know ... A lot of people don't understand it. This book helped me to understand why I love it. It's the people. The characters that we come to know over the course of their shows.

Granted, this book has far more interesting and likeable characters than most reality shows. You can also skip the cliffhangers, and breeze right through to find out who wins. (I had a hard time putting the book down.0

This book was a fast read and did not require much (if any) thought process. I would recommend it for a woman looking for an easy, brainless vacation read.

Fun book - quick read and very enjoyable. I loved all the different character "quirks" to discover throughout.

The back cover of the just-released paperback edition is somewhat misleading. The mother and her daughter who prove to be the main characters of this book are contestants on "Lost & Found", an Amazing Race-like reality show where individuals not only proceed from location to location but also carry a stream of objects with them from each place. As any reality TV viewer is likely to have guessed, there's a LOT more going on than what you see onscreen. Different chapters being told from different points of view reveal angst, anxiety, and sheer desperation among the characters which make it one you can't put down! My only beef against giving the book five stars stems from the nature of "Lost And Found" itself . . . chapters tend to cut off at critical points in the narrative, much like the nature of the show.
