Story was OK, but dialog was choppy and awkward. She uses names in her dialog unnaturally often, and it distracts me from the story.

    Good read!

Cady Jordan has had her share of mishaps in life. As a child, her family moved around alot. Cady's parents, Agnes and Asa stood in the way of Cady having the life she felt she deserved.

Cady's ailing grandmother Lola Jor Dan was the reason she returned to her hometown. Lola, who was once a beautiful actress absolutely adores Cady and wants the very best for her grandchild even if it means helping her to regain her memory about an aweful event in which Cady lost her memory and the ability to walk. A childhood friend or should I say bully, Jeff King lost his life in the incident and Cady was ultimately blamed for his death.

Cady is out to find the truth. She remembers little about what happened that day at the grove but she feels her old friends Pete Danson, Boomer Ward and the twins Amy and Andy Hollister have the answers she require to set her memory in motion and to start the new life for herself in Indigo, PA. with the help of her grandmother.

Cady's relationship with Boomer, friend to the childhood bully is on again off again as she uncovers the secrets of her past and try to accept the feelings she has present day. Nice read overall. Fern did a good job of leaving the reader satisfied at the books completion.

20 years after a childhood accident left a permanent shadow over Cady Jordan's life she returns to her hometown. She does not remember the accident. Her beloved grandmother hopes they can spark the memories. Cady is blamed for the death of a boy in the accident. She did not do it. WOnderful personal interactions

Fern Michaels has a real understanding of the effects of the past on the present and future. In order for Cady to have a future to look forward to she must come to terms with a past she can't remember. She has the help of her gandmother who she loves and loves her (I love that FM always has an older woman with a quirky, spunky and fun nature in all her books) and of course a handsome man to help her out. Fast read leaves you wanting more.

I don't know why I love this book so much. Coz if you actually compare it with the other books of Fern Michaels, it's just the same old plot. But still, I think this book is fantastic and highly entertaining. The only book of Fern Michaels I have a high regard for.

This book is delicious. It's one of Fern Michael's better books and it has extraordinary detail. I felt like I was in the Judas tree with Cady. I fell in love with Bommer Ward!
