I thought "The Thirteenth Tale" was better. Probably because "13" has the voice of an adult vs "Baby" is told by an 11 year old girl (who tells of her visits to an elderly neighbor and her own dead twin).

Compare this book to Thirteenth Tale

I couldn't help noticing the similarities between this book and The Thirteenth Tale. I found Shadow Baby to be so much better written, and consider it so far above 13th Tale in literary quality, even though the themes are similar. Did anyone else read both books and note likenesses? Comments?
