“I imagine that when this book was published in 1928, it caused quite a stir. It is the oldest book I have read that deals directly with homosexuality, and it doesn't gloss over it or just deal with sex. It's a good read to understand the history of oppression we have forced on people that may look just like us, but don't act like we expect. ”
