Outstanding. As we adjust to a less directive approach to leadership in this post-industrial age we must become aware of competent in the emotional arts involved in leadership. Goleman et al do an artful job at describing and making sense of the role of EI in the context of leadership. They make a great case for the ability of all to progressively learn better EI skills that be applied to the adjustment that must be made to leading a generation that expects it.
