“Well, this book was very slow until the end, which had a very strange Dragon Ball Z vibe to it.
“What a deviously succulent novel. Kim Harrison is one of those authors who has never written a bad book. Ever. Ever After is book eleven in the Hollows series and while I haven't read all of the previous books in this series, I have read several of them and can say without hesitation, Kim sure knows how to hook a reader in with strong character roles and vividly portrayed protagonists.
"I changed my mind. You watch. I'll investigate."
Rachel Morgan is in dire need of saving the shrinking demonic realm before it disappears completely, taking all of the magic with it. Rachel is a day walker demon and witch, whose sole purpose on earth is to to keep the evils at bay and save the earth for both the mortal and immortal alike. Elven millionaire Trent Kalamack is back again, but this time assisting Rachel as her powerful ally. With Trent by her side, Rachel must submerse herself into the ever-after, fight off the demons endangering everything she loves, and make it back before all Hell breaks loose. If you are unfamiliar with Kim Harrison's work, don't hold off any longer; you won't be able to put this series down.

“This series keeps on going with a bang. Kidnappings, old ex-lovers popping in, some important people actually dying, and the relationship between Trent and Rachel heats up further. Nice reveals on our romantic couple. Can't wait for the next.”Moon Cat wrote this review Wednesday, August 14, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No

“In "Ever After" Rachel Morgan is once again forced to choose between good and evil. Rachel must fix a magical error she made in the past in order to save her life and if that weren't difficult enough she feels obligated to save the lives of others as well. Kim Harrison plays on the character relationships that have evolved over the series and peppers this adventurous with feeling along the way. It is a great read and adds fun new elements to the Rachel Morgan series.”Patricia wrote this review Monday, July 15, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“I love this series. This particular books dragged on and was pretty boring in my opinion. I hope the next one redeems the series as all the others ones were excellent and then this falling flat really put me off. ”Erica wrote this review Friday, July 12, 2013. “Loved it. I felt it was a bit slow at the start - but built up to a great ending.”Micheal Pepper wrote this review Thursday, July 4, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
“The Ever After is shrinking and the blame is put squarely on Rachel's shoulders. If she doesn't fix it, the demon Ku'Sox claims her life as forfeit. With her usual allies unavailable, Rachel has to rely on Trent to have her back - and he always has his own agenda.”Felicity F wrote this review Tuesday, July 2, 2013. “I read the Kindle edition and as always I love the series. Rachel Morgan leads an interesting life, werewolves, demons, fairies, elves, vampires, they're all here. If you are into Urban Fantasy and haven't found Kim Harrison's The Hollows series, give it a try. The first is Dead Witch Walking. This is actually #11 in the series but in Shelfari it is 15 because some people count short stories and novellas as books.”Pam Bales wrote this review Saturday, June 8, 2013. I can't wait for the next one! ”Ursula wrote this review Tuesday, May 7, 2013. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No
