I have to say that I really enjoyed this story. This is the first novel I've read by J.M. Jeffries and look forward to reading more from them. I highly recommend this book because the heroine, Odessa, is a true heroine. You know how in some books the heroine turns into a whiney, help me because I've fallen and can't get up kinda woman. Not in this story this woman is 'kick butt' all the way and the hero, Wyatt, is in awe of her. I definitely enjoyed the romance between them. Actually, all the women in this story are very strong black women. This is a book to get if you are interested a little mystery, suspense with a bit of heated intimacy thrown in. A MUST READ!”
