“Great for anyone who is just starting to read romance novels.”
“This is another great romantic suspense novel from Judith McNaught. It has a compelling storyline, romance, and plenty of action of suspense.”
“I've only read a few of her books. The only historical I've read of hers is A Kingdom of Dreams. I like all of her novels so far.”
“i totally agree with you, alina b. (mind, i dont usu respond to comments but you hit this one spot on and i can't help but echo your sentiments...) mcnaught's just way way better with her historicals, it's her specialty. and yes tender triumph was such a (too put it simply) bland story. what's worse were her attempts on romantic suspense (dont even get me started on Night Whispers). i mean, they weren't bad...they're just not GREAT. plus i think a lot of readers were (and still are) disappointed that there hasnt been any new historical romances from her... i really miss those...”
“It was not a bad read, just not up to everything else she has written in historical romance. As far as I am concerned she is better there than with contemporary plots where she tends to overinflate the male characters to the point where they become abusive. (see that awful appaling Tender Triumph!).This one wraps up nicely, Cole is likeable enough and Diana not so goofy as expected. Nice read!”
