“It is rare to find a book that you can't put down and then decide to because you get so engrosed in it that you don't want it to end. This one had that effect on me. The author's talent in character development left me not wanting to say good bye to these people. Superb!”

“This book really kept my interest. Towards the end, I really had a feeling something really horrible was going to happen. So of course one must keep reading to find out just how bad it will be. This was my first reading of Anne Rivers Siddons. I would recommend her and will most likely come back to her again”

“Siddons can really write a great story with the full gamut of emotions. This is a touching story of finding a soul mate, and a family. The love story of Lewis and Anny is full and strong. But there is plenty of tragedy for Anny, and surprises in the end. Quite a twist.”
