Houston Chandler has lost her fiance to her twin siste but she has no one to blame but herself as it was her idea to switch places with her sister so she could fulfill an invitation to see the most coveted home in Chandler possibly in the whole state of Colorado. Kane Taggert has singled her out after she single handedly stopped snobbery in its tracks and disarmed a situation on the side of Mr. Taggert. who is an uncouth and unkempt mess. But feelin sorry for the man seems to have attracted a catch 22 as she has been invited to dinner at the largest mansion she's ever seen and a sight coveted by the whole town.
She is hoping to make a silk purse out of this sows ear.
