I'm an avid Smiths and Morrissey fan, and I know that enjoying this might be considered sacrilege in some fan circles, but I have to give Rogan his due. Even though Morrissey himself wished death upon the author (I believe his words were "Personally I hope Johnny Rogan ends his days very soon in an M3 pile-up")I never fully understood why. While the Smiths and Morrissey are my favorite subjects, this book was awful. Johnny Rogan couldn't have possibly made it any worse if he had tried.
