“This was just a crazy entertaining read. It was silly and fun and certainly not original, but I liked it anyway. But I do have one little complaint. It would've flourished if Scarlet and Tristan weren't constantly lusting after each other. It's pretty tiresome when they can't even be in the same room without their desire pulsing waves. I didn't get love from them (and they did apparently love each other); I got lust. Heavy, feckless doses of it that seemed to exist for the purpose of making things "hot". Goody. That's why I enjoyed the flashbacks where Tristan and Scarlet actually developed a friendship (though it too quickly became about hormones, unfortunately).
Anyway, rant. It was a good book. I'm looking forward to the third!”
