  7. Nospin

Nospin edited the summary of One Fool at Least Friday, May 25, 2012.

    • In this third Madeline Mann Mystery, Madeline finally marries her fiance, Jack Shea. The wedding itself goes smoothly, but in retrospect Madeline reflects "We grinned like fools, which is what we were, for thinking that nothing could go wrong from there."
Things do go awry, from the moment their plane lands in Grand Blue, Montana. This strange and beautiful town is full of characters who all seem to have a motive for the murder of Finn Flanagan, a local restaurant owner. Through no fault of her own, Madeline becomes a part of the investigation into Flanagan's death, and her new husband is equally invested in finding out the truth.
Maddy and Jack are admittedly fools--fools for love, fools for getting involved in the dark secrets of Grand Blue, and fools for not knowing who to trust. But as Henry Fielding once wrote, there is "one fool at least in every married couple."
