  “151pgs, This town had sat undisturbed and silent for so long. Most of the people in the town were perfectly content with the amount of faith they had, and they never strove for their own personal relationship with Christ. They showed up to church to be seen. They had become comfortable in their small repetitive routines and traditions. The fear of God and His sovereignty had dissipated, and the mundane conventional thinking had seeped into every facet of their lives. It had interfered with their worship and faith. They were no longer functioning with a conviction they once shared as a community.”
