This book by Meg Cabot(one of my favorite authors) is a great realistic fiction story abut a plain jane american girl turned princess. Not only does Mia have to deal with everyday teenage problems, but she also has to deal with enduring lessons with her strict and old granmere, for Mia will soon become the ruler of a small European country, Genovia. Mia is a very relatable character, just a normal but self-conscious 15 year old, trying to get the attention of the perfect caring and smart boy she has loved all her life.
This book is written as a diary, so you can read Mia's iinner thoughts and agree or disagree. I really love Mia as a person and how this is written. It is humorous and witty. I really recommend this book to any girl who wants a quick, fun and interestin book. I can't wait for the next book... Princess In Love.

Good, but not my all-time favorite.
    Funny, real life humor.
